Here's a sample page, taken from our last issue (names edited out for net privacy reasons)
Here's what you do!
1. We need your name and years of attendance at CHS.
2. Answer the questions below - we like flexibility. You can add a question you want in and also remove a question you dislike.
Don't write anything libellous!!! :-)
Which teacher inspired you at CHS? Your funniest school memory?
What subject did you hate and why?
What school house were you in?
Can you hit the high note at the end of the school song?
Do you still have any school library books?
Your favourite sport or, conversely, what sport did you try to get out of?
What did you do on the last day of school? (we won't tell the police)
Who was your best friend at school?
What book are you reading now?
Did you have a crush on a classmate?
What classroom prank can you recall? (we know nothing)
Did CHS have a lasting influence on your life?
3. Write a half to one full page about your post-CHS life - we call this "A bit about me....."
4. Send us a recent jpeg photo of yourself. Or else post a photo to us and we'll send it back by registered post.
5. Have a look through all these CHS photos online - find a class/sports photo with your face in it - tell me which one it was and I'll include that in the article.
6. Email me at landieATbigpondDOTnetDOTau with 1-5 and also include your postal details so we can send you a printed newsletter with your DISCOurse article. Or else post to me at CHESS, 2 Duval Court, Wheelers Hill, VIC 3150.
