Finn Taylor

I joined Cirque du Soleil in 2000 after sending an application away as a joke! 6 months later I was working at the Singapore regional office as the Public Sales Manager.

I am currently the Director of Public Services for Cirque du Soleil America.

I tour with the show Alegria which came to Australia in 2001. We first started in Auckland, before Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. From there we did 6 weeks in Singapore before coming "home" to North America for what looks like at least 3 years.

As the Director of Public Services, I am responsible for all ticket sales, food and beverage sales, merchandise sales as well as the "house", or our big top. We seat 2500 guests each night so it certainly keeps me off the street!!!!

I am writing from Denver, where we are in the last week of a 6 week run. On Sunday we pack up the big top and move to Minneapolis for 5 weeks. After that its off to Mexico city for 3 months! Should be interesting... Next year we go to Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and Christmas in Phoenix. Cirque's head quarters are in Montreal, Canada and currently we have 4 touring shows in North America as well as one in Europe. We also have 2 permanent shows in Las Vegas and 1 in Disneyworld, Florida.

My brother, Evan, who also attended CHS, also works for Cirque although for a different tour. He is a logistics technician on our brand new show "varakei."
